Terms of Service

Updated

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By accessing or using the CYBERCOM platform, website, or any associated services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you - whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") - and Cybercom Foundry Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

CYBERCOM provides infrastructure for cybersecurity mastery through three primary modes:

  • CTF-as-a-Service (Play) - Full-managed CTF event hosting - jeopardy, attack-defense, king-of-the-hill.
  • CyberCom Labs (Learn) - Classroom-native lab infrastructure with LTI 1.3 integration for universities.
  • Hiring Infra (Assess) - CTF-based technical hiring with skill matrix scoring and AI-assisted reports.
  • Physical Lab Buildout - End-to-end physical cybersecurity lab construction and setup.
  • Chapters & Community - Campus community programs, workshops, and events at partner colleges.
  • Challenge Marketplace - A marketplace for buying and selling vetted CTF challenges.

Access to specific services may be gated behind institutional contracts, paid tiers, or pilot agreements. Free 90-day pilots are available for CyberCom Labs at eligible institutions.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND ELIGIBILITY

To access certain features, you must create an account. You represent that:

  • -You are at least 13 years of age (or older if required by applicable law in your jurisdiction).
  • -All registration information you submit is accurate and you will keep it current.
  • -You are not barred from using the Services under applicable law.
  • -You will not share your account credentials with any third party.

Institutional accounts (universities, corporates) must be registered by an authorized representative with authority to bind their organization to these Terms.

4. CTF EVENT RULES AND CONDUCT

Participation in any CYBERCOM CTF event is subject to these additional conduct rules:

  • -No sharing of flags, solutions, or exploits during active competition windows.
  • -No automated scripting, bruteforcing, or DDoS attacks against CYBERCOM infrastructure.
  • -No attacks against other participants or external systems not explicitly within scope.
  • -Anti-cheat systems are active at all times. Circumvention attempts result in immediate disqualification and potential ban.
  • -Extreme Anti-Cheat Mode events (government/sensitive) require physical presence compliance including device lockdown and offline-only operation.
  • -Challenge integrity: do not disclose challenge contents publicly until the official post-event period.

CYBERCOM reserves the right to disqualify participants, revoke certificates, or ban accounts for any violation of these rules, at our sole discretion.

5. LABS AND INSTITUTIONAL USE

CyberCom Labs access for educational institutions is governed by a separate Institutional Agreement or Pilot Agreement, which supplements these Terms. In the event of conflict, the Institutional Agreement prevails for that specific engagement.

Lab environments are isolated, ephemeral compute instances. You may:

  • Use lab environments for legitimate learning, teaching, and assessment purposes.
  • Run attack and defense simulations within designated lab boundaries.
  • Use company simulation environments as instructed by your course or professor.

You may not use lab environments to attack external systems, store illegal content, or mine cryptocurrency. Violation results in immediate termination of access.

6. HIRING INFRASTRUCTURE AND ASSESSMENTS

The Hiring Infra product is intended for legitimate technical hiring and assessment purposes. Key terms:

  • AI-assisted hiring reports are drafted with machine assistance and reviewed by a human. The employing organization retains full liability for final hiring decisions.
  • CYBERCOM does not guarantee employment outcomes or candidate quality.
  • Candidate data collected during assessments is subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
  • Anti-cheat is active during all hiring assessments. Detected cheating invalidates results and may be reported to the hiring organization.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The CYBERCOM platform, including all software, challenge content authored by CYBERCOM, branding, documentation, and infrastructure code, is owned by Cybercom Foundry Private Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you create (custom challenges, writeups, solutions) but grant CYBERCOM a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your challenge submissions within the Challenge Marketplace and Labs platform, in accordance with the marketplace revenue-share agreement.

You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of CYBERCOM's platform without express written permission.

8. PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Event bookings, Lab subscriptions, and Hiring Infra engagements are billed per the applicable pricing tier. All prices are in INR unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement.

  • -CTF Event bookings: 50% upfront, 50% on event day. Custom enterprise deals may vary.
  • -Labs subscriptions: billed annually per agreed tier. Free pilots convert to paid at end of 90-day period or terminate.
  • -Hiring Infra: billed per role or annually depending on tier.
  • -Refunds: evaluated case-by-case for event cancellations. No refunds for delivered services or completed assessments.

9. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

CYBERCOM does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. We maintain a 100% uptime record across delivered events, but this is not a contractual guarantee.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CYBERCOM'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CYBERCOM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

CYBERCOM IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
