Panimalar is the first paid, sponsored institutional engagement on CYBERCOM - proving the two-round format (Prelims + Finals) on proprietary infrastructure at full production scale.
What changed
Panimalar needed a competition that could run two distinct rounds - a broad Prelims to filter the field, then a tighter Finals for the qualified teams - without stitching together separate tools for registration, scoring, and monitoring.
CYBERCOM's CTF-as-a-Service handled both rounds on the same proprietary infrastructure: one registration flow with an integrated payment gateway, one attendance and certificate pipeline, and consistent anti-cheat monitoring across both rounds so the qualifying bar meant the same thing in Prelims and Finals.
Why it mattered
Velammal proved CYBERCOM could run a CTF. Panimalar proved it could run one as a paid, sponsored engagement - the model the roadmap is built around before scaling to more institutional clients.
The full certificate and attendance pipeline - auto-generated, per-participant - also gave Panimalar a deliverable their students could put on a resume immediately after the event.
